SEAL TOURS 2018 -- MARCH 29 – April 29
On our 1-hour scenic narrated tour on board the ferry “Jamestown”, we look for the harbor and gray seals that frequent Narragansett Bay during the winter months enjoying a resting spot on Citing rock just off of Rose Island. Maybe we will spot an elusive harp or hooded seal that have been said to join us Mid-January thru early May. Our seal tours begin March 31 and run each Saturday thru April 29 weather permitting. For the best viewing, we have scheduled our seal tours around the low tide. Binoculars provided. The cost is $22.00/adults, $17.00/Seniors & children 3-12. For reservations email May Munger.
A minimum of 10 people are required to sail. For the safety of our guests and crew, all tours are weather dependent. In the event a tour is canceled, you are permitted to reschedule.
All day public parking is available on Conanicus Avenue between address #9 and #30 and on Narragansett Avenue between #60 and #99. The Narragansett Avenue parking is approximately a 10-15 minute walk through Jamestown Village to the Ferry departure site at 1 East Ferry Wharf. There is also limited parking downtown.
